Tango
week package: 6 days/ 5 nights
This
itinerary includes only the main activities. At the bottom
of this page you will find a list of optional activities
that will make your trip a lot more exciting. We didn't
include them in the main itinerary because some travelers
prefer to spend their free time resting or wandering around
Buenos Aires and that is perfectly OK.
Day 1 - Welcome to
Argentina!
We will
pick you up at the airport and take you to your hotel. Our
guide will provide you with a welcome package that contains
all the information you will need to get around Buenos Aires
on your own and some recommended activities.
At
night we will take you to one of the most amazing tango
shows in Argentina. You will see some of the best dancers in
the world and will get a chance to dance yourself too. The
show includes dinner. The Argentinean cuisine is famous for
its steaks and its European influence. In Argentina, eating
like royalty is a given.
Day 2 -
Buenos Aires City Tour &
Salon Canning
After a
delicious breakfast at one of Buenos Aires' top hotels we
will take you on a city tour around Buenos Aires. You will
get to discover how fascinating Buenos Aires' history is.
You will visit downtown Buenos Aires, the Financial
District, historical buildings that have been around for
more than 400 years, and some trendy neighborhoods, such as
Recoleta and Palermo Soho, where hundreds of expats, artists
and Fortune 500 CEOs, spend their vacation days.
At
5.30 PM we will pick you up from your hotel and take you to
the Mora Godoy Tango School, where you will take your first
tango lesson with some of the most experienced, and
recognized tango instructors in the world. The class will be
one hour long.
After
the class we will take you back to your hotel, where you can
take a nice shower and get ready for
Salon Canning,
one of the top
milongas
in Buenos Aires. Dancing tango at a genuine Buenos Aires
milonga
is an experience you will never forget. If you are a tango
lover, you will feel like you are in heaven. An incredible
dinner and transfers is included.
Day
3 - Leisure Day &
El Beso
After
breakfast you have the whole day for yourself. You can do
one of our suggested activities, wander around Buenos Aires,
visit historical coffee shops where the greatest
tangueros
wrote and composed famous tangos, or you can just relax and
do whatever you want.
We will
pick you up from your hotel and take you to Mora Godoy Tango
School for a class. Again, some of the most requested tango
instructors in the world will be passing on to you all their
passion for this beautiful dance.
After
class, we will take you back to your hotel, where you will
get ready for
El Beso,
another great
milonga
in Buenos Aires. You will meet fellow tango dancers from all
over the Globe and you will definitely make many friends.
Day 4 -
Leisure Day &
La Viruta
Another
day for yourself. There is so much to do in Buenos Aires
that no matter how long you stay, you will always wish you
had even more time. Check with us for optional activities
and excursions in Buenos Aires.
Today
you will have another tango class with Mora Godoy Tango
School's staff.
At
night, we will visit
La Viruta.
This
milonga
is one of those places where not having the best time of
your life is impossible. By this time, you will have made
many really good friends from your travel group and at other
milongas.
And there is nothing better than a tango night with friends
in Buenos Aires, tango's hometown.
Day
5 - Leisure Day &
Niņo Bien
In the
morning, have a large cup of Argentina's famous coffee,
fresh squeezed orange juice, and take all the time of the
world to read your favorite book. Take a hot shower or relax
in the hotel's jacuzzi before another exciting tango day.
Choose
one of our suggested activities for the day or do whatever
you feel like. In the evening you will have another tango
lesson. By this time, your dancing skills will have improved
so much that you won't believe it.
At
night, it's time to visit
Niņo Bien.
Although most
milongas
in Buenos Aires are spectacular,
Niņo Bien
will
blow your mind. This place is so popular that many tango
fans flight from all seven continents just to dance at it.
Day
6 - Return Flight
After a
delicious breakfast and
at appropriate time you will be transferred to the airport for continuing traveling in Argentina (see our options in PATAGONIA, IGUAZU , MENDOZA , or any other extension trip) or take your flight back home.
It will
be the end of 6 days of tango, friends, and fun; an
experience you will never ever forget.
