GREAT CUZCO + Optional INCA TRAIL*
4 days/3 nights
Cuzco is a city located at the southeastern part of the Peruvian Andes, in the Huatanay river valley at the altitude of 3400 meters. It was founded as the capital of the Incas Empire , from where their culture expanded to the rest of their territory. The weather in Cuzco is relatively moderate all year round, dry and warm during the day and cold at night. It is quite rainy during the period from January to March and drizzle is common between November to April.
This city, besides its archaeological richness, shows a colonial semblance with beautiful churches, convents, and old houses with great cultural, folkloric, mystic, and gastronomic traditions.
Cuzco and its surroundings offer a variety of opportunities to practice sport activities such as trekking, river rafting, Andean climbing, cycling and horseback riding to name a few.
