Peninsula Valdés has always been considered a sanctuary of nature. Many marine fauna such as the southern right whale, the elephant seal, the sea lion, the Magellan penguin and the orca head to the quiet gulfs in the Patagonian Atlantic coast in order to mate and raise their young. Our itinerary combines the attractions in the area including full day visits to the Punta Tombo Penguin Rockery, Peninsula Valdés and Puerto Piramides including a whale watching navigation, while staying in Puerto Madryn.

Day 1
Upon arrival in Puerto Madryn , you will be taken to your selected hotel. The city offers different activities to enjoy during your first day. We highly recommend a visit to the seaside area and try any of the local restaurants with delicious dishes.
Day 2
After breakfast, you will leave on a full day excursion to Peninsula Valdes. The small and picturesque village of Puerto Piramide offers the possibility of embarking on a whale watching navigation trip. After the navigation it's time for lunch (not included), you can try the typical barbecued lamb in a local estancia. Continuing along the Patagonian steppe , you will stop in strategically selected sites on the peninsula to be in close contact to sea lions, guanacos, seals , penguins and orcas among other fauna. Return to the hotel in the evening.
Day 3
After an early breakfast, you will be taken on a full day excursion to Punta Tombo Penguin Rockery . Located south of Puerto Madryn is the biggest Magellan Penguin colony in South America , with more than 200 thousand couples which raise their young in this a peaceful reserve between September and February. You will be surrounded by these funny birds while walking along the paths and admiring their perfect organization. You will make a brief visit to Trelew and Gaiman before returning to your hotel.
Day 4
Breakfast. At appropriate time, you will be transferred to the airport or bus terminal.
