Seeing hundreds of species of birds is an incredible show to see, along with alligators, marsh dears and capybaras, all of them being nearly extinct species. The colors of the sky give a final touch to the enchantment of the place.
Being a guest in Rincon del Socorro is a way of being a part of the ambitious project that the CONSERVATION LAND TRUST has proposed and carries through with undeniable success.

Day 1: Arrival in Posadas, Corrientes OR Resistencia airport + Private transfer to Estancia - Iberá
Upon arrival in the airport, you will be received and transfer to the Estancia.
On arrival, we spend the day birding around the lodge where much to the surprise of our birders, the nearly extinct yellow cardinal can be seen hopping around in the lettuces in our organic gardens!
Day 2: Iberá Wetlands – Boat trip to the Wetlands.
After breakfast we depart the estancia and drive towards the Laguna Iberá. Birdwatching and photograph opportunities will oblige for many stops on the road. In the lake, Papyrus and cattalist, water lilies & water hyacinths host a number of reptiles, capybaras (the world’s largest rodent), marsh deers, yellow anaconda and two species of caiman. Return to the lodge for dinner. Night safaris after dinner looking for owls & the Scissor- tail nightjar.
Day 3: Iberá Wetlands – Savanna, Wetlands, "Acacias" woodlands & Atlantic Rain Forest.
Full day to explore Rincon del Socorro, 12.000 hectares Wildlife Reserve. In our 4 habitats we will stand high chances of observing localized and threatened species including Ochre-breasted Pippet, Black -and -White Mojita, Greater Rhea and again the Strange Tail Tyrant and Yellow-Billed Cardinal.
Riding and biking trips can be organized at the estancia, ideal way to explore the woods and savannas. Return for drinks & sundowners at the lodge.
Day 4: Departure to Posadas, Corrientes OR Resistencia airport - Private transfer
Before Breakfast, only meters away from the lodge, we have a wonderful man made lake, used in the days of cattle ranching for watering cattle, great fun is to enjoy watching and listening to the cackle of the large community of white egrets getting ready to set off on their commute to the wetlands, for their daily feasts.
Mid-morning check out. And private transfer to the airport to continue with your itinerary.

The team at Eureka travel did a wonderful job of fitting in a lot of travel. Chile bottom to top. We were supported the entire trip. It was a lot of travel, but they made it happen flawlessly.
Steve C. From California
We used Eureka Travel to plan a 21 day trip for 6 adult friends to Chile, Argentina, and Brazil. We all had a fantastic time, and have nothing but good things to say about Analia and the people at Eureka. When we began planning the trip, Analia was very helpful and responsive as we went through the various iterations about exactly where we were going and what we were going to see and do. The final itinerary was very clear and we had a phone conversation to go over each day of the trip to ensure that I knew exactly what to expect. All 6 of us shared the same itinerary in Chile and Argentina, but we went separate ways once we reached Brazil. Analia was very accommodating and helpful in making the different arrangements for all of us on the Brazil portion of the trip.

Once the trip began, we were all very pleased with the design of the itinerary (where we were, how many days we spent there, what we did, etc). Analia and Cecilia (who lives in Argentina) were both very responsive to the questions or issues we had along the way (there were very few). All of our accommodations were first rate and in great locations. All of our transportation was extremely well coordinated - the drivers and tour guides were where they were supposed to be when they were supposed to be there. We had at least 7 or 8 different tour guides in the different locations throughout the trip, and they were all incredible, with excellent English, local knowledge, and interpersonal skills.

Of course there were a few glitches along the way, but they were all quickly handled with a text, phone call, or Email. We have nothing but praise for Analia and Eureka, and would definitely use them again or recommend others to plan their holiday to South America.

Steve and his friends traveled to Chile, Argentina & Brazil in March 2018.

We used Eureka travel to go to Easter Island and then to Chile over the holiday season to watch our son play soccer in an International tournament. Analia and her staff were absolutely unbelievable. We travel extensively and Eureka travel agency was perhaps the BEST we have ever experienced. Not only did she and her staff work hard to find us the best and cheapest flights (which they did), she helped find us reservations at a hotel that initially was booked. Given that we spent a lot of time at the soccer tournaments and we were unclear about our schedule, she was extremely flexible and never pressured us into planning side trips. In addition, we later learned that our college aged son was going to continue traveling on to Peru and she gladly found him flights and helped organize an itinerary. Our return flight was delayed and we knew we would miss our connection back to California. We quickly texted Analia to see if she could arrange for us to get on a new flight which she did on her own time, well after business hours. She continued to stay in touch to make sure we made our new flight and even to make sure we landed safely home! I would give Analia and her staff the absolute highest rating possible. They are attentive, extremely knowledgeable and completely honest. We plan on using their services again as soon as we plan another trip.

We all had a wonderful time. Loved Buenos Aires. The hotel\'s you selected were very nice - especially liked the room in Recoleta(overlooking the cemetery) and the one in Mendoza(with a balcony overlooking the tree lined street). The hotel in Colonia was beautiful and the pool felt great after our travels. Colonia was definitely a worthwhile place to visit. We were wishing we had another night there. The glacier tour was definitely a highlight - walking on the glacier with crampons and of course it helped that we had a beautiful day. The wine tour was also very special as we had a guide who was fun to talk with and gave us lots of information about the area and the vineyards. The lunch at Septima was especially good. We did not love the city of Montevideo, but we rented a car without any problem and went to Piriopolis for a day at the beach and that was great. The hotel desk person was a big help with setting this up.

Thank you for your help and I will send friends your way when they are ready to travel to Argentina.
