My trip to the Galapagos and Chile
My husband and I just returned from a three-week vacation in the Galapagos and Chile. This is the second trip I have taken that was organized by Eureka Travel. Last year we spent a month in Argentina. This year as last year, everything went perfectly smoothly. Eureka Travel is run by two sisters: Analia and Cecilia. They are Argentineans and have traveled South America extensively. They know what works and what doesn\'t. Our trips have been smooth, without a hitch. I have worked with Analia. She makes everything happen. I tell her what experiences I want, where I want to go, how much I want to spend and how much time I want to give the trip. The Galapagos and southern Chile (Patagonia) is so interesting. Of course, we saw huge turtles and actually swam with a sea lion who swam all around us just playing, in the Galapagos. The hotels and the guides are wonderful. We usually travel one day, go on an excursion another day and goof off one day. Then on to another site. We visited, as I said, the Galapagos, Torres del Paine National Park, took a four day cruise on a freighter through the Chilean fiords and visited national parks in the area. We hike (to a volcano and to a 3,000 year old alerce tree), we rest, we eat, we learn, we read, we enjoy, we talk to people. I can recommend Eureka Travel without reservation and will certainly travel with them again. After all, South America is a big continent.

Olga traveled to Argentina in 2011 and to Chile & Ecuador in 2012

We all had a wonderful time. Loved Buenos Aires. The hotel\'s you selected were very nice - especially liked the room in Recoleta(overlooking the cemetery) and the one in Mendoza(with a balcony overlooking the tree lined street). The hotel in Colonia was beautiful and the pool felt great after our travels. Colonia was definitely a worthwhile place to visit. We were wishing we had another night there. The glacier tour was definitely a highlight - walking on the glacier with crampons and of course it helped that we had a beautiful day. The wine tour was also very special as we had a guide who was fun to talk with and gave us lots of information about the area and the vineyards. The lunch at Septima was especially good. We did not love the city of Montevideo, but we rented a car without any problem and went to Piriopolis for a day at the beach and that was great. The hotel desk person was a big help with setting this up.

Thank you for your help and I will send friends your way when they are ready to travel to Argentina.

The team at Eureka travel did a wonderful job of fitting in a lot of travel. Chile bottom to top. We were supported the entire trip. It was a lot of travel, but they made it happen flawlessly.

Excellent agency
Eureka Travel put together a wonderful trip for us in Argentina. The agent took our information on budget, places we wanted to see and our time available then she recommended adding one location and put together the package. This was done primarily through email with only one or two phone calls. Every piece of the plan worked seamlessly and all the local contacts greeted us on time and with the information we needed for our stay. We received travel advice and contact phone numbers in case of emergency. We had everything we needed in plenty of time. We heartily recommend this agency to anyone looking to travel, particularly to Argentina.
