DESCRIPTION

Standing directly on the Uyuni Salt Flats, at an altitude of 3’600 m, at the foot of Tunupa Volcano, our luxury dome camp is waiting for you. Dome camp is somewhat of a Mad Max Adventure.
Composed of repeated equilateral triangles, their metallic structure is the very essence of mathematical elegance. In front or on top of the dome, a transparent panel offers wide-open views on the Salar and its star-studded sky. Lit up at night, with solar panels placed in between the domes, they are one of

Day 1. Uyuni Salt Flats – Kachi Lodge
Trip from Uyuni to Colchani, a small town at the shores of the Salt Flat, the main activity of the inhabitants is the salt extraction. The journey through the Salt Flat is an unforgettable experience, you will travel on a natural highway of more than 10,000 km of white salt.
Transfer to Kachi Lodge (1 hour), where you will enjoy a delicious lunch at your arrival. Accommodation at your exclusive dome.
In the afternoon you get to choose your activities, you will be free to assemble your activities as you like. The proposed activity for your first afternoon in the camp is a visit to Coquesa town and its sheltered mummies in a cave 600 meters over the town, from where you will also get wonderful sights of the Salt Flat.
Return to Kachi Lodge, brief rest and later enjoy a luxurious dinner at the central dome.
At night you will get to enjoy the unreal sight of the sky, the camp counts with a telescope at your disposal to watch the stars and admire the sky in a peaceful place where you will feel unique.

After a good night sleep, the breakfast waits for you.
In the morning, the suggested activity is morning trek to the “island” close to the camp, covered of giant cactus and with impressive sights to the Salt Flat.
Also, there is the option to visit the well known Incahuasi Island, located 30 minutes from the camp. Return to the camp for lunch. Or take a box lunch with you (it will depend on the activity you choose).
The afternoon in the domes invites you to a pleasant relaxing time. The activity for your last afternoon is the visit to the interesting archaeological site of Alcaya, at 1.5 hours from the camp, an old Pre-Columbian city close to Salinas.
Or if you are in good shape, you can take a trek until the lower edge of the Tunupa Volcano´s crater (2 hours).

I cannot express how pleased I am with Eureka Travel. As I was developing the plans for the trip, they were helpful with suggestions and accommodated all my requests. The transportation to and from airport, hotel, tours was excellent. The guides were very, very good. The lunch and dinner provided w/tour were excellent. Your help made our trip a wonderful experience. Also, when I was unable to call the local contacts (b/c my inability to get country codes, etc figured out) I could always email/call directly to your U.S. office for assistance. you helped solve any problems right away. Will definitely use Eureka Travel again when we return to Peru.

As a business owner who travels extensively to get fresh ideas for architecture, etc., it\'s good to count on a Travel Agency to help me with the tedious task of reservations and most importantly to incorporate some fun and leisure time. Having sat down with Ana, she layed out a detailed itinerary to suit my needs for a 21 day trip to Iguazu Falls, Buenos Aires, Bariloche, Calafate & Ushuaia. I\'ve dealt with many other agencies that were run of the mill and Eureka Travel was my best experience to date. I was impressed with Ana\'s passion, poise, expertise and her knowledge of her native land. She turned a business trip into one of my most memorable vacations ever. All my expectations were met and exceeded! I would highly recommend Eureka Travel for business or pleasure to Argentina.

Eureka Travel has booked two trips for my wife and I, one to Italy and the other to Argentina. It was the best experience we have had with any travel agency so far. We feel this way primarily because Analia\'s personal touch, high attention to detail and hands on approach with her clients and not just relying on voicemail and emails.
We will use Eureka Travel for all our future trips and recommend it highly.
